Power Wine Education Seminar

Leading Ladies, it's not just a wine tasting, but an incredible educational experience!

Taught by:

Mariam Razavi - better known as "Raz"
One of Washington's best wine advocates and truly a Leading Lady!

Often the wine selection and tasting process can be very intimidating, not so after this course! In this seminar, you will learn how to:

  • Confidently review a wine menu
  • Easily "pair" the most appropriate wine with your meal
  • Request the assistance of the Sommelier to assist with wine selection
  • Select a quality wine, including vintage and house
  • Comfortably ask what the price is if it is not provided
  • Read the wine label
  • Easily navigate the wine tasting process and much more!

You will sample six different wines ~ personally selected by Raz. To enhance the wine tasting aspect of this course, we will offer you a variety of specialty cheeses with fresh breads and crackers. We have custom designed this seminar to ensure that you know "how" to properly select and taste wine. Customary to all of our events, you will not only learn about wine in a comfortable, open environment, but also have fun learning this powerful skill from one of the most educated, passionate wine enthusiasts, Mariam Razavi, who will teach the seminar.

Overview:

Have you ever thought about venturing into a new field?

Not sure how to make the move or where to look?

Then come join us for a casual and informative conversation about different career choices that five successful Leading Ladies® have developed. These women will discuss why they chose to work in their fields, how they navigated their career paths, what skills are needed to succeed in their fields, and where the opportunities exist.

Our panel of Leading Ladies® is dynamic and incredibly diverse. Two women are entrepreneurs in very different fields: film and motherhood. Two women work for the Federal government, but represent very different perspectives. And one woman made a career change to public relations after almost a decade in journali®.
